Call for restrain and dialogue between First Nation and R.C.M.P. after the clashes in Rexton , N,B.

Canadian Iranian Coalition for peace is  calling  for restrain  and dialogue between First Nation and R.C.M.P. due to violent  clashes in Rexton , N,B.

 

Experience of Hunger strike of  chief o Tresa Spencer proves violence is not the answer against first nation Canadian .They are expecting  to be treated fairly as  promised by  conservative Government and Opposition leaders , Justin Trudeau and Thomas Mulcair .

Today  clashes in Rexton , NB  is not the first and it would not be the last one if the Federal Government does not recognize the legitimate rights and requests of the first nation by engaging in serious dialogue with Canadian First nation.

 

 

Canadian Iranian Coalition for peace asking the release of  Chief Aaron Sock and 40 other  First Nation activists who are arrested by R.C.M.P.  in Rexton, N.B incident.  We call for restrain by both . We urge both sided to negotiate and resolve  the issues through diplomatic channels and more serious effective dialogue rather than act of  violence while James Anaya, the UN’s special rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples is investigating  violation of human rights of First nation .
